The story takes place on an island somewhere in the Mediterranean where Marcos Timoleon (Willem Dafoe) is throwing a lavish birthday party for his daughter and sole heir, Sofia (Vic Carmen Sonne). The ruthlessly controlling Marco has plans for his daughter, but when he learns she has her own ideas, the two clash amidst the decadent and rowdy party-goers.
