Today Warner Bros Pictures released the first teaser trailer for the Scorsese, Phoenix, Phillips, De Niro "JOKER" film. I have to say this teaser is fucking magnificent.
Here is the hysterically heartbreaking trailer for "JOKER." I have to warn you, prepare to see the best DC has ever had.
Wow. Right, just fucking wow. I am flabbergasted by the intense emotions I am feeling for Phoenix's Joker, and I was not prepared for this level of genius. Holy hell, this film is going to take the character of the joker and rip our collective hearts out while driving us mad. The use of Jimmy Durante's version of the song "Smile" is so manipulative and weaves a coherent theme throughout the trailer. Jesus Christ, I am just so, WOW, just WOW. I knew this was going to be amazing but fuck me. I had no fucking clue. "JOKER" is set to break the minds and hearts of the masses on October 4th. I am more than ready, because yeah I currently am having a comic based cinematic climax based on a 2-minute 24-second fucking teaser. How about all of you out there in cyberspace? Who is geekgasming with me?
