Hola Dannie aqui,
Today Guillermo del Toro shared the first poster for "Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark" via his Twitter account (@RealGDT). Guillermo is producing "Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark" with André Øvredal directing. Many of you may know André Øvredal from his work on "The Autopsy of Jane Doe," "Trollhunter," and "Future Murder." The script is penned by del Toro, Daniel Hageman, and Kevin Hageman and of course is based on the best selling series of book by Alvin Schwartz’s.
IMDB describes "Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark" as-
"a group of young teens who must solve the mystery surrounding sudden and macabre deaths in their small town."
Here is the poster for "Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark" read on for more information.
"Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark" stars Zoe Colletti ("Annie," "Nerd Herd," and TV's "Rubicon") on director André Øvredal's ("The Autopsy of Jane Doe," "Trollhunters," and "Future Murder") film. Joining Zoe are Michael Garza ("The Hunger Games: Mockingjay," "Wayward Pines," and "Timeless"), Natalie Ganzhorn ("Wet Bum," "Make it Pop," and "The Stanley Dynamic"), Gabriel Rush ( "The Grand Budapest Hotel," "Moonrise Kingdom," and "Little Boxes"), Austin Zajur ("Kidding," "Fist Fight," and "A Haunting") and Austin Abrams ("The Americans," "Brad's Status," and "The Walking Dead").
"Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark" is set to haunt theaters in the U.S. of A on August 9th, in Russia on October 31st, and in the Netherlands on November 7th of this year. What do all of you Alvin Schwartz fans think of the poster? I find it a lovely tribute to artist Stephen Gammell who originally illustrated the books.
