Set Tour of ROAD TO PERDITION via Pictures!!!

Hey folks, Harry here... and this spy, I'll call 'THE REPORTER' has a relentless supply of photos from the set of ROAD TO PERDITION... And damn... this is inside stuff... Soon I'll have my Script Report done for you folks! Harry out...

Hey Harry,

Hey all, First off love the site & I check it everyday for the latest. You guys are great at what you do so keep it up. I also check Coming Attractions site & sent them this same information (it was too hard to decide one or the other, so why not both). Attached is a zip file (perdition.zip) that contains 20 photos of the set. Enjoy!

I have been around the sets of this film for a while now & just wanted to share with some recent photos. Can't say where this set up is (except for the first few photos which were from Momence IL) but here's a little synopsis of them.

Photos 1 - 5 are from Momence. Pic 1 is a night shot the day before the set up for shooting. Most all of the buildings have been transformed into the 30's. That building on the far right is a mock up bank that Hanks robs. One of three. I've heard that with the two month preparation of this set & the one day of shooting the result will only be about 3 minutes of actual film. Pic 2 is the crew making the old buildings look even more aged by spraying muddy water on them.

Pic 3-5 are of course some vehicles. 4 & 5 are Hanks' car & you can see that a bullet hole is evident from an earlier scene.

Now to the sets - Tom's character's home is first (pics 7-9). Couldn't get any good shots of the interior because the lights were off at this time, so only a few exterior shots are here (love that tacked on ice). The interior was fantastic & everything was set into place, including character photos which I will get to in a bit.

Pics 11-15 are of the home of a character name of Rooney. Not sure but could be Paul Newman's home (don't know his character name). In pic 3 notice the coffin laid out in front of the fireplace - Cool. Again just walking through the set & looking at this recreation was outstanding. I'm a huge film fan but never actually been on a film set.

Pics 16 & 17 are the surrounding area of the three sectioned off sets. In the center of the two sets mentioned already was the upstairs bedrooms & bathroom (pic 8) of the Sullivan home. Again, too dark to get.

Pics 18 - 20 are just 3 of the many photos that were up on the mantle in the Sullivan home set. As you can see they are basically mock photos & will probably be seen in the background. Either way they're pretty cool - Especially Pic 20 (guess Jennifer Jason Leigh is the wife).

That's all for now, hope you can use these. If not I just wanted to share. I'll try to see what I can come up with later & let you know. I have seen the Hanks man but am not able to snap a pic due to certain reasons. Maybe someday. Later!
