The synopsis of LITTLE according to IMDb is “A woman is transformed into her younger self at a point in her life when the pressures of adulthood become too much to bear.” Check out the trailer:
This film is directed by Tina Gordon Chism who is also a co-writer of the film along with Tracy Oliver. If you are getting vibes of the 1988 movie BIG, in reverse (all the way down to the film title), then we are definitely on the same page. The idea of this story was presented by Black-ish star, Marsai Martin who is not only playing a starring role in the film but is also the Executive Producer.
The ridiculously ageless Regina Hall will be playing Jordan Sanders whose role is giving me Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) vibes as she enters the office and shoves her purse at the peons who have not aspired to posh level.
Audiences will also be graced with Emmy award winner, Issa Rae an actress, writer, and producer of the highly acclaimed HBO television series INSECURE.

I don’t know about you, but this film has all the unrealistic attributes of escapism that I want to get lost in with the hopes of laughter weaved together with an excellent heartfelt message. I am going to the theatre to see it and Issa Rae in that hideous heavenly gold foiled outfit, that I am not sure even Little Richard would wear.
