I should preface this with the fact that, I’m not a real big fan of the Leprechaun series. Yes, it had its “charms” and yes I’d even agree it had fun kills. In the end, it just never hit me the way it sure seemed to hit a lot of my friends.
It looks like LEPRECHAUN RETURNS is going the way of the new HALLOWEEN, in that they’re pretending all the sequels after the original didn’t happen.
This one starts with that well we saw the Leprechaun skeleton crawl out of, only to get pushed back in and lit up like a Christmas tree, in the original film.
In this sequel, the little green one returns to attack a group of girls who unwittingly decide to go “Green” with their new sorority house site, utilizing that old well nearby.
Sorry everyone, Jennifer Anniston is nowhere near this thing.
Anyone out there want to see the little green goblin do his thing again?
I’m ambivalent as I mentioned earlier, but I love horror movies so I’ll give it a shot.
