Deadline reports that director Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio will once again work together on a film adaption of the true crime novel KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON.
The book, by author David Grann, tells the story of how in the 1920s after a Native American tribe, the Osage Nation, discovered oil on their land they became the target of a deadly conspiracy that was eventually unraveled by the then-fledgling Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Here is what Martin Scorsese had to say about the project:
“When I read David Grann’s book, I immediately started seeing it—the people, the settings, the action—and I knew that I had to make it into a movie, I’m so excited to be ... reuniting with Leo DiCaprio to bring this truly unsettling American story to the screen.”
this will be the duo's sixth collaboration together. They previously collaborated on GANGS OF NEW YORK, THE AVIATOR, THE DEPARTED, SHUTTER ISLAND, and most recently 2013's THE WOLF OF WALL STREET.
What do you guys think? Excited to see Marty and Leo back together again? Let us know!
