That trailer almost hurts to watch. I’m a lover of extreme films and seek them out to my own detriment. You can count on me reviewing this one in the near future.
The synopsis follows a group of progressive ladies who head to Chile for the weekend seeking a good time and run into a very bad time instead. An old bitter victim of government torture and his son enter the girl’s home, and the ladies must fight back against the horrific pains they’re put through. TRAUMA blends modern progressive Chile today with its repressive dictatorial past as background for these ladies’ less than an ideal vacation.
TRAUMA is available on Blu-Ray, DVD, Cable, and Digital HD October 23rd.
Lucio A. Rojas wrote TRAUMA and also directed this for his third feature film.
I don’t want to sound excited because TRAUMA looks all kinds of traumatic, but I love an extreme horror movie that attacks the senses and stays with me late at night.
