Happy Birthday Mr. Fahrenheit! (aka Freddie Mercury) Birthday wishes from the "Bohemian Rhapsody" Film & a Trailer

Hola Dannie aqui,

Today a touching tribute/birthday salute was released by the people behind the film "Bohemian Rhapsody" for what would have been Freddie Mercury's 72nd birthday today. I don't know about all of you, but I adore Queen, Mercury was a musical god amongst men, and I believe the planet was blessed to have him for the short time we did.

This tribute/trailer is beyond touching, the music consumes one's soul and what we see from Rami Malek (Freddie Mercury) fills my heart to the brim with intrigue and delight. Here is the amazing video.

Director Bryan Singer is bringing his A-game with this one from the looks so far! Most of you may know Singer from his work on the "X-Men" films ("X-Men 1 & 2," "X-Men: Days of Future Past," and "X-Men: Apocalypse"), "The Usual Suspects," "Apt Pupil," "Superman Returns," "Jack the Giant Slayer," and "Valkyrie."

Here is the trailer released yesterday for those of you who may have missed it.

20th Century Fox describes the film as-

"Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music, and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury. Freddie defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet. The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound. They reach unparalleled success, but in an unexpected turn Freddie, surrounded by darker influences, shuns Queen in pursuit of his solo career. Having suffered greatly without the collaboration of Queen, Freddie manages to reunite with his bandmates just in time for Live Aid. While bravely facing a recent AIDS diagnosis, Freddie leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music. Queen cements a legacy that continues to inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers to this day."

Alongside Malek "Bohemian Rhapsody" stars Lucy Boynton ("Murder on the Orient Express"), Gwilym Lee ("Jamestown"), Ben Hardy (X-Men: Apocalypse"), Joseph Mazzello (Tim from "Jurassic Park"), Aidan Gillen ("The Dark Knight Rises" and "Game of Thrones"), Tom Hollander ("Gosford Park" and "Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End"), Allen Leech ("The Imitation Game" and "Downton Abbey"), and Mike Myers (the "Austin Powers" films, "Waynes World" and most recently "Terminal"). Boy howdy, what a cast!

"Bohemian Rhapsody" is set to rock theaters on November 2nd. This film looks like a killer queen, dynamite with a laser beam and guaranteed to drive ya wild!
