Freddy Beans here with the first trailer for AIR STRIKE.
Well that was something, wasn’t it?
I’m not sure who’s job it was to cut that trailer, but they shouldn’t be working much longer in the industry. Pair it with the mundane uninspired voice of the narrator, and I’m wondering why I’m writing it all up.
I have a desire to see Bruce Willis do well in the film. With GLASS coming out in January It’s nice to see the man get a push. I’m just not feeling this one at all.
The synopsis for director Xiao Feng’s 2nd film has five different Chinese people in 1942 fighting through consistent Japanese Air Force attacks to protect an essential piece of machinery in Chongqing. Even the storyline has no heart.
I hate to sound like a total pessimist, so I found a positive on AIR STRIKE here. Look at this completely uninspiring poster, and I’m starting to enjoy the consistency of mediocrity coming out of this one.
AIR STRIKE is crashing into theaters October 26th.
Me thinks they have a lot of work to make this one digestible by then.
Anyone out there looking forward to this World War II, um based on true events tale?
Til next time Kids
