Today a trailer came out for Mexican chilango filmmaker Carlos Reygadas' "Our Time" aka "Nuestro Tiempo." Carlos Reygadas is a multi-award winning director and writer, his first film "Japón" won him three Ariel awards for Best First Work (Mejor Ópera Prima), Best Screenplay, and Best Direction back in 2002. Reygadas proceeded to make eight more amazing films some amazing shorts and interesting segments such as the documentary "Filmando: Batalla en el Cielo," "Battle in Heaven," "Silent Light," "Serenghetti," "Revolución" (segment "Este es mi reino"), the short film "42 One Dream Rush," "Post Tenebras Lux," and 2014's "Short Plays" (a segment entitled "Mexico"). Reygadas has garnered 44 wins and 22 nominations across the globe at festivals and award ceremonies. Reygadas wrote, directed and stars in "Our Time" a film said to run almost three hours.
"Our Time" is described as-
"A family lives in the Mexican countryside raising fighting bulls. Esther is in charge of running the ranch, while her husband Juan, a world-renowned poet, raises and selects the beasts. When Esther becomes infatuated with a horse trainer named Phil, the couple struggles to stride through the emotional crisis."

"Our Time" is set to premiere at the Venice and Toronto Film Festivals this week, and the film is still shopping around for a distributor. Alongside Reygadas in "Our Time" stars Eleazar Reygadas ("Post Tenebras Lux"), Natalia López (known mainly as an editor), Rut Reygadas ("Post Tenebras Lux"), and Phil Burgers (Netflix's "The Characters" and "Spivak").
