Dave Bautista is sticking to his guns pretty hard, gotta admire that. He spoke out for what he felt to be a great injustice with what happened with Troma’s James Gunn’s firing, and got the rest of The Guardians on board!
Deadline says that Bautista opened up during an interview on THE JONATHAN ROSS SHOW. What he had to say about the third GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY:
“It’s a bitter-sweet conversation — um, no it’s a bitter-bitter conversation because I’m not really happy with what they’ve done with James Gunn. They’re putting the movie off. It’s on hold indefinitely. To be honest with you I don’t know if I want to work for Disney.”
Bautista must have balls of steel to be talking about the Mouse this way. He has even said in the past that working for Disney was “nauseating”. How much can he get away with before they fire him too?
I love GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY and would love to see 3 soon, but that obviously isn’t happening in the near future. Perhaps to tie us over, a LEGO GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY could happen, ehhh????? A girl can dream.
