I'm not a big rom-com fan, but I gotta admit: I loved CRAZY RICH ASIANS. And so did a lot of people, apparently, because it's headed into it's - third? Fourth? - Number one crazy rich grossing box office weekend. Which means, luckily, that stars Michelle Yeoh and Awkwafina can pretty much write their own ticket on their next film!
Thank our lucky stars that they've decided to sign onto the upcoming second feature from directing duo Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, aka "The Daniels." These are the guys who directed SWISS ARMY MAN, better known as "That farting corpse movie starring Daniel Radcliffe."
Their new movie is called EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE, and is being billed as "an interdimensional action film." So it sounds like we can expect something as wildly inventive as SWISS ARMY MAN, but set in an interdimensional action universe, starring Michelle Yeoh and Awkwafina? Seriously, I need to go splash some water on my face and make sure I'm not dreaming, cause this sounds like a radical departure from... well, everything.
