MOONLIGHT Director Barry Jenkins Releases a Teaser for James Baldwin's "IF BEALE STREET COULD TALK"

Hola Dannie aqui,

Here with a teaser for "IF BEALE STREET COULD TALK." The cinematic tease was shared by Oscar winner and director Barry Jenkins (MOONLIGHT) today on Twitter in tribute to American novelist and social critic James Baldwin's birthday.

Barry Jenkins Tweeted-

For me, August 2nd has always been a day to pay tribute, so... a teaser of what's to come. Happy Birthday, Jimmy ????????????????♥️

The film "IF BEALE STREET COULD TALK" is described on IMDB as-

"A woman in Harlem desperately scrambles to prove her fiancé innocent of a crime while carrying their first child.

"If Beale Street Could Talk" is based on a novel by James Baldwin who also is credited as the writer on the documentary "I AM NOT YOUR NEGRO," Spike Lee's "BAMBOOZLED," and the television series "AMERICAN PLAYHOUSE."

"IF BEALE STREET COULD TALK" is the first feature to follow director Barry Jenkins' Oscar success MOONLIGHT and looks to be equally beautiful and enthralling. The film is set to be released November 30th of this year just one day before the anniversary of James Baldwin's death. I don't know about all of you out there, but I can not wait to buy a ticket for this one, I adored MOONLIGHT and I love Baldwin's work. What do all of you out there think of this trailer?

Stay Strong, Live Good, Love Movies!
