Today with some news that Variety.com broke. My favorite "Game of Thrones" actor Peter Dinklage has been tapped to play the classic Brothers Grimm character “Rumpelstiltskin” in Sony's new film project of the same name. Peter will also be a producer on the project alongside Josh Weinstock, David Alpert, Matt Smith, David Ginsberg and Karen Rosenfelt (producer on the "TWILIGHT" trilogy). Challenged with penning the script is Patrick Ness, the man behind "A Monster Calls" a film I thoroughly enjoyed. So come on Ness bring us some more goodNess!
The word is that this film is a high priority for all involved. However, it will not be Dinklage's first film after "Game of Thrones" as it is still in the early stages of development. Peter Dinklage is mainly known from "Game of Thrones" as the charming character Tyrion Lannister but has been in front of the camera since 1991. Also in the 90's Peter was the frontman of a Punk, Funk, Rap group named WHIZZY!

What are some of y'alls favorite performances by Dinklage other than "Game of Thrones?" I loved him in "13 Moons," "The Station Agent," as well as many others like "The Knights of Badassdom," and "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri." Dinklage was also in Marvel's "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and "Avengers: Infinity War." As a ten or eleven-year-old kid, I won a costume contest at the legendary sculptor Elizabeth Ney's home. They had themed storytimes where kids were encouraged to dress as their favorite Grimm fairy tale character. I was the only girl who wasn't a Princess. I chose Rumpelstiltskin, and my father and brother helped me transform into a scary old man! I terrified the other kids, and it is a great memory. I will have to dig up the photos! What do y'all think, will Dinklage yet again be spinning box-office gold?
