Hola Dannie aqui,
The news broke at The Wall Street Journal and Deadline that Warner Bros and Twentieth Century Fox are currently in a bidding war for the cinematic rights to distribute a 2016 performance of Lin-Manuel Miranda's "HAMILTON." I absolutely love Miranda's "HAMILTON" and now the world will finally get to see it in all its glory! Word is the rights could sell for more than $50 million, that's a sweet payday for the "HAMILTON" folks, I hope Miranda sinks it all into another Broadway musical! It is also reported that the buyers are being asked not to play or stream "HAMILTON" until 2020/2021, which is kinda a bummer. Also, there have been no comments made by Miranda or the production, probably because they are still in negotiations.
Well, I look forward to seeing it on the silver screen. What do all of you out in Geeklandia think?
