Freddy Beans here with some WOMAN IN THE WINDOW casting news from VARIETY
Gary Oldman is playing the patriarch of a family moving into a neighborhood stalked by an agoraphobic woman (Amy Adams) unable to venture outside. She kills the free time drinking, watching movies, and spying on her neighbors where she witnesses Gary’s family commit a crime.
This sure sounds to me, like WAIT UNTIL DARK sprinkled with REAR WINDOW’s setting. While I don’t know what the crime is being committed if it’s murder and they carry the victim out with suitcases I’m going to sue someone!
Is there anyone excited for this news?
I loved Gary Oldman’s early films. He’s kind of fallen into the old man roles lately. He deserves better in my opinion.
