Freddy Beans here with a trailer for FINAL SCORE starring Dave Bautista.
That looked like some fun if slightly uninspired action.
The Russian accents seemed really off to me, then Pierce Brosnan tried his hand at it and I decided the first accents were fine all along.
Seriously, I’ll definitely spend time with this movie, though probably in the luxury of my own home. It might be a good idea to throw in SUDDEN IMPACT for inspiration to start my night. FINAL SCORE seems to be exactly the same story as that one, if you substitute soccer for hockey. OK OK, and get a guy that can do the splits acting the tough guy.
I really like Dave Bautista and openly root for the ex-wrestler now known as Drax. He’s a monster of a human being who seems to genuinely be a good guy. I just don’t know if this is going to be the vehicle he deserves.
FINAL SCORE was directed by Scott Mann and is heading to theaters on Sept. 7th.
Does this trailer hit any of your pleasure centers? It scraped mine, but didn’t quite hit.
