Last December I was in awe of just how BEAUTIFUL the new NUTCRACKER film looks! Now we have this lovely poster to look at and take in. Take a gander!
I love the brightly saturated colors! This appears to be a very interesting interpretation of the NUTCRACKER we haven’t seen entirely before. Plus friggen MORGAN FREEMAN is in it as the role of the mysterious eyepatched godfather. Or uncle, or Clara’s dad’s friend. Or whatever this interpretation chooses to make him. I feel like that’s a very good sign for the script to have Freeman in this, though. Also starring Keira Knightley!
The premise is described on IMDB as “A young girl is transported into a magical world of gingerbread soldiers and an army of mice.”
