Today we have a trailer for "DISTORTED," and it looks like a paranoia-fueled thriller. "DISTORTED" stars two darn good actors, John Cusack ("High Fidelity," "Sixteen Candles," "Say Anything," "Gross Point Blank," "Tapeheads," "The Grifters" and "WAR Inc.") and Christina Ricci yes 'Wednesday' from "The Adams Family 1 & 2" (she also was excellent in "Buffalo 66," "Black Snake Moan," "Monster," "Sleepy Hollow," and "Pecker").

"Distorted" is directed by Rob W. King; you may have seen Kings work on television series "The Other Side," "Tokyo Trial" and "2030 CE." King has worked on a handful of made for TV movies like "Without Malice" and also has some silver screen projects like "I Heart Regina," "Hungry Hills," and "The Humanity Bureau." The film is written by Arne Olsen the man that wrote: "Red Scorpion 1 & 2," 1995's "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie" and "All Dogs Go to Heaven 2" as well as a history writing for television.
So what did all of you out there think of the trailer? I got mixed feelings; I don't like the editing work on the trailer as it has a very "made for TV movie" feel about it. I do not know the directors or writers work that well, and hope the best for Cusack and Ricci, as I have enjoyed many a movie they have been a part of. However, this trailer has left me worried about the film; I am very much looking forward to being proven wrong. "Distorted" is already out in select theaters; it was released on June 22nd, how many of you will take the paranoid plunge?
