Cannes news keeps rolling out: Cybill Lui of Anova Pictures announced that Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jamie Lannister on "Game of Thrones") has signed on for THE SILENCING, to be directed by Anders Engstom ("Taboo").

Based on a Nicholl Fellowship-winning script by Micah Ranum, A GOOD HUNTER, THE SILENCING is about a reformed hunter whose daughter was taken years earlier by a human predator. The guilt and anguish drive the hunter and his wife apart, as she wants to let go, but the hunter can't. When he spots a clue that his daughter might still be alive and being used as live prey by the killer, the hunter uses his skills to track and rescue the girl, bringing the killer on his trail.
