-Hello all, Mad Dashiell here and thanks for joining me today.
Ryan Knighton is making an adaptation of Michelle Adelman’s novel, PIECE OF MIND, and Bad Robot is joining forces with Paramount, and Daisy Ridley's name is circulating around the project as of right now. Knighton is a recipient of the 2009 Alfred Sloan Prize at the Tribeca Film Institute.
The story is based on a W.W. Norton published novel by Michelle Adelman, that follows Lucy, a 27-year-old. When she was only three she suffered a traumatic brain injury and her luck only darkens as Lucy’s father, her main caregiver, suddenly dies. She's forced to shack up with her younger brother. Lucy seems to have rare gifts and throughout the film, she begins to see more of that in others.
