Hey folks, more news from Deadline Hollywood. Warner Brothers is preparing the third film in the Robert Downey Jr. 'Sherlock Holmes' series to premiere in time for Christmas 2020, where it will compete with James Cameron's AVATAR sequel.
RDJ has been talking sequel, but there's no confirmation that he or Jude Law are contracted previously or recently for the sequel. Chris Brancato wrote the screenplay; no word on whether Guy Ritchie will return as director. No word on the subtitle yet...
