Hey folks... it looks like MONSTERS AND MEN will be this year's big drama. Written and directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green (his first-time feature), the film stars Anthony Ramos, Chanté Adams, Giuseppe Ardizzone, and Nicole Beharie.
In MONSTERS AND MEN, college-bound Manny (Ramos) hears the police pull up on someone at the corner market he frequents. Manny begins filming what suddenly and unexpectantly becomes a police killing, and is soon faced with the hard decision to bury the footage and stay quiet to keep his hard-won future on track, or to face the very real pressures all around him-- even in his own family-- to be silent in order to make a stand for the dead man.
MONSTERS AND MEN will be released in the fall.
