With a new trailer for a promising zombie looking flick called FERAL below.
Looks pretty good right?
What I love is it feels like a hodge-podge collage of a ton of different horror movies. I see a blend of EVIL DEAD, WOLF MAN, 28 DAYS LATER, THE DESCENT, while the entire setting screams CABIN FEVER .
I definitely could have done without the POLTERGEIST “They’re here” reference at the end of that trailer though. I also feel like the old man explaining the entire plot of the movie idea should have gone away around the time they stopped making good FRIDAY THE 13TH'S. But honestly that’s griping. I liked the tone and feel of most everything I saw. Maybe they should have showed a few more shadows or harrowing situations instead of needing to explain everything in a trailer, but that’s just me.
Overall I’m definitely on board and can’t wait to see this thing.
I mean look at this poster, I absolutely love it and want it on my wall.
Even the poster feels like a homage to NOSFERATU with a tinge of the SWAMP THING..
I don’t know if he means all these, or I’m just drinking too much today and finding homages cause I’m tipsy but ya got me, Mr. Mark Young (writer & director) Ya got me!
