Frank Miller, Tom Wheeler and Netflix team to tell you about a Watery Tart Distributing Swords!

Hey folks, Precious Roy here, with the news that writer/producer Tom Wheeler is teaming with comic book legend Frank Miller for a YA book, that will simultaneously be a Netflix series!

CURSED will tell an origin story of Nimue, otherwise known as the Lady in the Lake in Arthurian legend. In this re-imagined story, Nimue is Arthur's magical friend, joining him on a quest to deliver the sword Excalibur to the wizard Merlin, with King Uther and the Red Paladins on their trail.

Wheeler will write it, Miller will draw illustrations for it, and Wheeler will executive produce the Netflix adaptation of it. There's no word on whether Frank Miller will direct any of the episodes or provide art production for the show.

p.s.: Hey, film execs and savvy producers! If you're thirsty for Arthurian legend tales, did you know that no one has yet adapted Matt Wagner's phenomenal "Mage" series yet, a modern Arthurian legend about a dude with glowing bat and a lightning bolt on his shirt? He's published the first two installments (The Hero Discovered in the eighties and The Hero Defined in the nineties) and is nearly through the last part of the story (The Hero Denied). Wagner is an overlooked creator whose work is amazing and ripe for a YA audience. (Edsel was about 30 years ahead of her time, for a start.) Tell 'em Roy sent ya.
