It’s been revealed that the villain for the upcoming WONDER WOMAN 2 movie is Cheetah! Of all of the villains to be chosen as the main villain, I never thought it would be her. At the very most I expected her as a side villain if she ever showed up.
They have chosen to go with the third incarnation of Cheetah, Barbara Ann Minerva, a British archaeologist. She’s been described as an heiress, selfish, ambitious, and severely neurotic. Barbara gains her powers by taking part in a ritual of an African tribe. Unfortunately for her, that ritual was intended for a virgin, so she suffers debilitating pain in her human form, and extreme blood thirst in her cat form.
Expected to reprise their roles in the sequel are Chris Pine, Ewen Bremner and Said Taghmaoiu alongside the film’s star, the lovely Gal Gadot! Word is, that Emma Stone may be taking on the role of Cheetah. Patty Jenkins returns to direct.
According to thathashtagshow.com, the story of WONDER WOMAN 2 follows Diana Prince into the 80s, she reunites with Steve Trevor to take on the now dissolved Soviet Union. Knowing that Steve didn’t die in the airplane in the first WONDER WOMAN kind of really takes away the impact of that scene...
