With news for all the Dubstep and EDM (Electronic Dance Music) fans! At long last, the film "ABOVE GROUND LEVEL: DUBFIRE" has a release date on November 21st it will be available on Video On Demand by Gravitas Ventures! This documentary mainly will follow the rise of one half of the Grammy award-winning DJ duo DEEP DISH, DJ 'Dubfire'. DJ Dubfire the Iranian-American whose real name is Ali Shirazinia arose from the underground music scene to the above ground super fame he has now. The Documentary has interviews with many other big names in the EDM community like world-renowned DJs: David Guetta, Pete Tong, Paul Oakenfeld, Armin Van Buuren, Carl Cox, NERVO and many more! Well, it is odd the music choice of the trailer not being Dubstep or EDM, I am guessing they are figuring we will get enough during the documentary or maybe it just was to be cute! I am interested in this film, even though I am limited in my EDM education, and have never been to one of the giant rave music parties, I personally prefer small crowds :) It is however very interesting to glance into a monstrously huge music scene with the insane light shows that so many live to travel great distances to see! Fandom of every type, as well as creators, are usually something I will have peeked interest in, so can not wait to see this one!
