"The Bombing" Bruce Willis Image released plus casting info! Dannie reports

Introducing the very first production still from the historically based film "The Bombing" starring John McClane, I mean Bruce Willis and one of China’s biggest talents Bingbing Fan (X-Men: Days of Future Past, Iron Man 3) and Nicholas Tse (The Stool Pigeon, Bodyguards and Assassins). Mel Gibson is serving as the film’s art director and creative supervising producer. The film was written by Ping Chen, is being directed by Xiao Feng (Hushed Roar) and produced by Yang Butang and Jimmy Jiang.

 

Based on the infamous and incredible true story during World War II, where five different Chinese people fight their way through Japanese Air Force attacks to protect an important military machine in Chongqing, China. Bruce Willis plays the US Air Force Commander Jack Johnson who trained the Chinese people under alarming, nerve racking and dangerous conditions. Jack Johnson also historically led his own aviation squadron against the Japanese Air Force. The film is the sophomore feature for director Xiao Feng and is currently in post-production.

 

History buff geeks this is one we should keep an eye on!
