Which is TV’s biggest 2017 show? Both “Game of Thrones” and “The Walking Dead” peaked at 5.7 this year, but “Thrones” launched its season with a 4.7 while “Walking Dead” just launched its season with a 5.0. “Walking Dead” is also ahead this year with average per-episode ratings. (However. Ratings for “The Walking Dead” have diminished since “Fear The Walking Dead” began to foul the franchise. My bet is “Thrones” will finally be bigger than “Dead” in 2019.)
