With some exiciting news from our cinamatic psycho Mad Dashiell, and I as well am losing my geek mind over the news about Beetlejuice 2!!

It's getting closer to showtime everybody! Mike Vukadinovich will be re-writing BEETLEJUICE 2 for Warner Brothers, a project that has for far too long been lost in the vaults of film purgatory. Tim Burton and Michael Keaton are currently working on DUMBO. This Disney project will be flying to screens March 29, 2019. Nothing is carved in headstones yet for BEETLEJUICE 2 but it has been noted that Burton and Keaton have been excited about the idea of collaborating on a BEETLEJUICE 2 sequel for some time now.
Vukadinovich’s most recent film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. REMEMORY, a science-fiction drama that was picked up by Lionsgate. Vukadinovich wrote the original screenplay for the project starring Peter Dinklage and Julie Ormond. He certainly seems to be a busy man in the mouse house, he holds writing credit for MR. TOAD'S WILD RIDE, based on The Wind in the Willows, a classic children's novel by Kenneth Grahame. Vakadinovich also wrote the upcoming season of Marvel’s Runaways, watch for the new original series on Hulu.

I remember how the first "Beetlejuice" truly disturbed my Mother, the idea that suicides become enslaved by the afterlifes version of government work, absolutely terrified her! This made my brother and I laugh for years, she truly was a character! I immediately fell in love with everything about the film and the love has not faded a bit, and I eagerly await a sequel! Thanks for the write up Mad Dashiell!
