More Superhero Movie Posters and glimpses... Justice League, Spidey, Guardians...

Hey folks, Harry here...  Well, they just dropped another SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING poster - this one features Web-head wall-crawling, like an A!

Do you think Tony Stark has Aunt May up in his private pad and her longjohn wearing nephew is about to get an eyeful like the peeping Peter he is?

Nah, I don't think so either.

Ok, next we get CYBORG poster:

So here's Ray Fisher's Victor Stone, CYBORG.  Again, it's an aggressive shot - and the CYBORG teaser shows him with a big ol Gun arm sort of thing - so yes, he'll be transforming - and yet...  no image of Ray as the character shows us anything other than...  he's on the job.   No personality delivered at all.

Everything is so aggressive, no casual power use, it's all being used in the midst of some unknown combat for which we have no real reference for. But that's what you get for tease for trailers! One shot of Cyborg joking with Flash would be a miracle. Something to break up the... scowling.

Then there's the Wonder Woman poster for JUSTICE LEAGUE - there's just no personality here.  Gal Gadot is stunning, the costume is very Warrior mode, but this is very much a pose that gives you nothing.  Her teaser trailer is much the same.  Best shot is her with the statue, but even that shot has her turning to face the camera with a scowl.   It's so dour to be a DC hero.

See... and she's apparently going to do the bracelet energy blast thing again. Sigh.

I'm still not sure if I like this FLASH costume at all.  It just doesn't look like it would be comfortable or practical at all.  Also, admittedly I'm in love with THE FLASH TV Show - and this armored version just doesn't seem like anything Barry would put together, but let's see how it gets introduced in the film.  The FLASH Teaser is interesting in seeing how they're doing his speed, yet we really don't get a sense of how he'll be used in a sustained bit of action.

What'd you think of that?  Next we get BATMAN:

Ok - what is BatBen looking at?  I'm not sure I like this Bat costume all that much - I know I'm not hot on the pose here - I mean that shot of him on the Death gargoyle in this tease is way hotter than the poster.   Though the Gentle Ben beard shot is - odd - right?

Now we get AQUAMAN:

Now - while I do, in fact, love the look of the character - there is that feeling of swimming in armor being a sinking endeavour - but...   he commands the sea and all in it, so he could have the ocean propel him however the hell he wants to.   He's looking straight into us...  considering us the audience.  Feels a bit mythic and powerful - but it is really the only one that evokes that to me.

We have zero notion of how Aquaman will come across, other than as a raging sea god - apparently. OUTRAGEOUS! giggle.  The UNITE tagline feels weak to me.   And I'm someone that wants this film to work so badly - and I can't wait to see it - as I do enjoy Zack Snyder's work.   Let's hope this Trailer that is coming tomorrow really blows us away.   That'd be a welcome thing at t his point.

Meanwhile - Marvel put out this GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL 2 IMAX poster - and it has still yet to be beat by any other comic poster this week, right?

Keep it cool,

Harry
