Hello ladies and gentlemen, Muldoon here with a pretty cool glimpse at a new movie starring Dominic Monaghan. While I've yet to see the film myself, I appreciate what Director Dagen Merrill did with BENEATH and hope to catch his BROKEN HILL soon as well. While those projects were more horror, and then dramatic - his latest film is a science fiction tale, with SyFy backing it. The film also features Tom Sizemore and Sarah Habel, and to be honest - I'll always be rooting for a Sizemore project. Fingers crossed here's a project that proves a return to form for him. ATOMICA hits theaters March 17, 2017 and then VOD and Digital HD March 21, 2017.
In the near future, when communications go offline at a remote nuclear power plant isolated in the desert, a young safety inspector, Abby Dixon, is forced to fly out to bring them back online. Once inside the facility, mysterious clues and strange behaviors cause Abby to have doubts about the sanity, and perhaps identities, of the two employees onsite.
