‘Minus The Ein!!’
Herc Has Seen Tonight’s DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW!!

I am – Hercules!!

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow 2.1 FAQ

What’s it called?
“Out of Time.”

Who’s responsible?
Teleplay is credited to Marc Guggenheim (“No “Ordinary Family,” the Ryan Reynolds “Green Lantern” movie & Phil Klemmer (“Chuck,” “The Tomorrow People”).

What says FX?
“After the defeat of the immortal villain Vandal Savage and the exposure of the corrupt Time Masters, a new threat emerges. Dr. Nate Heywood, an unconventional and charming historian, is thrust into the action. After making a shocking discovery, Nate seeks out Oliver Queen for help in finding the scattered Legends. Once reunited, the Legends continue their new mission to protect the timeline from temporal aberrations - unusual changes to history that spawn potentially catastrophic consequences. Their first stop is 1942 to protect Albert Einstein from being kidnapped before the Nazis destroy New York City with a nuclear bomb. Meanwhile, Ray notices that Sara has a mission of her own, which leads them both to face her nemesis, Damien Darhk.”

The episode starts in 2016, at Star City city hall. “What the hell is going on out here?” demands Oliver Queen.

White Canary believes killing Darhk in 1942 will prevent him from killing her sister, but I wonder if the assassination could ever stick with Barry Allen also constantly altering the timeline over on “Flash.” Beware invisotext bearing spoilers.

* Hawkman, apparently, is no longer a member of the Time Team.

* If you looking for Hourman or Stargirl or Barry Allen or Kara Danvers, none of them turns up this week either.

* The opening credits reveal the Legends now consist of five members: Atom, Firestorm, White Canary, Heatwave and Rip Hunter.

* Oliver Queen gets maybe four minutes of screen time.

* Damien Darhk gets maybe five minutes of screen time.

* We see White Canary boning the Queen in 17th century France and.

* Stein seems to grow tumescent over the prospect of meeting Albert Einstein.

* Einstein is first glimpsed groping nonconsenting young women.

* “I am Dr. Martin Stein,” Martin Stein tells Albert Einstein. “Just like Einstein, minus the Ein.” Comedy!

* This is an odd show. It seems to be pitched mostly at 7-year-olds, except for the parts in which White Canary sleeps with historical figures. After she seduces the Queen of France, she apparently does it with a bunch of women in Salem, Massachusetts.

* How does it end? Someone familiar to fans of another CW series arrives. (Hint: Not Cat Grant.)

8 p.m. Thursday. The CW.
