Sometimes you try really really hard to be a badass, and then it all goes straight to hell.
LEVEL UP follows a broke gamer (Josh Bowman) as he searches for his kidnapped girlfriend. The kidnappers are in touch with him by phone, commanding that he complete increasingly dangerous and insane challenges in order to keep her alive. The debut feature from Adam Randall, the film carries a dark humor, and really taps into the messed up hilarity that can ensue when you put an ordinary dude in bizarre circumstances. Being a badass is not always as easy as it looks.
