Here's the trailer for DAVID LYNCH: THE ART LIFE soon to premiere at Venice!

Hey folks, Harry here...   I love the work of David Lynch... for me it began with THE ELEPHANT MAN, ERASERHEAD in those days wasn't commonly available, but damn if that movie isn't electrifying.   I'm also a lover of Lynch's DUNE, which may not be as exquisite as Frank Herbert's astonishing novel, but it was just right for me at age 12.  Dad got me the entire toy set, multiple Sandworms, the ships, the rayguns...  all of it.   Oh and he scored me the novel, which both he and my mom loved.   The only thing I missed out on was his Twin Peaks work, whihc I didn't dive into in a complete fashion until I heard David was back at work on it.  Never met the man, most of my anecdotle stories come from when Director Eli Roth was his Personal Assistant.  The stories about helping Lynch with his art projects & experiments in decay... fascinate me, and it looks like this doc could dive into that...  art of Lynch that we're not all familiar with.  Jon Nguyen directed this, but the impetus for doing the film came from Lynch wanting to have something for his youngest daughter, who was born in 2012, so this is likely to be...  quite intimate.  We've all been voyeurs of Lynch's for quite some time, can't wait to hear how this plays

Keep it cool,

Harry
