Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Adam Wingard's sneaky Blair Witch sequel is coming very soon. The gatekeepers of horror (the Fangos, Bloody-Disgustings, etc) have seen it and have let us know that the movie delivers the goods. All I know is I've liked just about every feature Wingard has directed and while I didn't think I needed a new Blair Witch movie the trailer for this one has me excited.
One of the things to get me excited for this movie was a tweetn from Wingard who said if the first Blair Witch was about getting lost in the woods, this one is about being chased though the woods.
Since there's no need for the pretense that all this is real that should unshackle this team to really go nuts with the Witch stuff.

This looks like the Blair Witch follow-up that could actually work. Fuck Book of Shadows! And yes, I recently rewatched that and still think it's a steaming pile of garbage. "It was intentionally shitty" is not a defense I can swallow. So, yeah. Bring on the real Blair Witch 2.
