Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I saw Lights Out last night and didn't think it was great, but love that genre fare with a heavy emphasis on myth building seems to be swinging around again. The Babadook and It Follows jumps immediately to mind.
Today we got a new trailer for BEFORE I WAKE, which has a great cast including Thomas Jane, Kate Bosworth and Jacob Tremblay hot off his award-winning turn in ROOM about a foster family who takes in a kid whose dreams seem to come to life every night. And his nightmares, too.
Looks a little Twilight Zone-ish and that's about the highest compliment I could give this thing sight unseen.
