Game of Thrones' Charles Dance to materialize in Paul Feig's GHOSTBUSTERS!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Inverse got studio confirmation today that noneother than Charles Dance will appear in some way, shape or form in Paul Feig's GHOSTBUSTERS flick.

There's speculation he'll be the villain. Given Dance's particularly intense screen presence I think that's a safe assumption, but I'd be just as happy to see him play against type.

I'm still of two minds about this reboot. I think all the ladies in the cast are wonderful and have zero problem with "an all-female Ghostbusters." There's nothing about the concept that screams "everybody with a proton pack has to have a wiener!" And Feig has a great grasp on comic timing and has proven it over and over again.

No, the only thing that really gives me pause is that, either by creative decision or legal maneuvering, the original Ghostbusters aren't around. I wouldn't mind if the original cast didn't make an appearance, but all accounts Murray and Aykroyd are popping up, but as different characters.

I suppose we'll wait and see how it plays out, but it's the only thing I'm nervous about, personally.

Thoughts?
