Marvel Developing Sitcom About Superhero Carnage Cleanup Crew!!

I am – Hercules!!

In August we learned NBC is developing a sitcom set in the DC Comics universe (“Powerless” is described as an “Office”-ish exercise about nonpowered insurance company workers who share a world with Green Lantern, Superman, Flash, Wonder Woman, etc. etc.)

And now we have word that ABC is developing a sitcom set in the Marvel Comics universe. “Damage Control,” based on the print series of the same name, would follow those charged with cleaning up after superheroes and supervillains finish beating each other up.

The print version of Damage Control, co-financed by Tony “Iron Man” Stark and Wilson “Kingpin” Fisk, made its debut in 1989. The Greek demigod Hercules himself is among its employees.

All employees wear clothing adorned with the letters DC.

There are already a boatload of Marvel TV series in production or greenlit to series, including “Agents of SHIELD,” “Agent Carter,” “Daredevil,” “Jessica Jones,” “Luke Cage,” “Iron Fist” and “The Defenders.” There are also two other Marvel series in development, “Most Wanted” (which would focus on SHIELD agent Bobbi “Mockingbird” Morse) and an untitled mystery project from screenwriter John Ridley (“12 Years A Slave,” “American Crime”).
