Report:
The New Peter Parker Sharing A Big-Screen Universe With Hulk And Thor And Coulson Will NOT Invent Mechanical Web-Shooters!!

I am – Hercules!!

“Latino-Review has been told that the original comic book plot of Iron Spider will not be part of ‘Civil War’ but instead [Tony “Iron Man”] Stark will be the one responsible for creating Spidey’s web shooters,” writes Latino-Review staffer Kellvin Chavez.

If true, that’s interesting.

As “Captain America: Civil War” begins, Peter Parker is fighting crime without swinging from building to building? Without wrapping criminals in his webbing? (Maybe he’s even calling himself The Gecko or The Silverfish?)

With all the many (see below) big-deal Marvel superheroes in this third “Captain America,” is it also to serve as a new retelling of Spidey’s origin?

A big part of Mark Millar’s Civil War comic book series involves Peter Parker complying with government wishes and revealing his dual identity to the world.

Here are just some of the characters “Civil War” must service

Tom Holland as Peter “Spider-Man” Parker;
Robert Downey Jr. as Tony “Iron Man” Stark;
Chris Evans as Steve “Captain America” Rogers;
Paul Rudd as Scott “Ant-Man” Lang;
Scarlett Johansson as Natasha “Black Widow” Romanoff;
Jeremy Renner as Clint “Hawkeye” Barton;
Anthony Mackie as Sam “Falcon” Wilson;
Don Cheadle as James “War Machine” Rhodes;
Emily VanCamp as Sharon “Agent 13” Carter;
Sebastian Stan as Bucky “Winter Soldier” Barnes;
Frank Grillo as Brock “Crossbones” Rumlow;
Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda “Scarlet Witch” Maximoff;
Chadwick Boseman as “The Black Panther” T’Challa;
Daniel Brühl as Baron Zemo;
Paul Bettany as The Vision; and
William Hurt as Gen. Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross.

No word on Bruce Banner, Matt Murdock, Peter Quill, Frank Castle, Hope Van Dyne, Phil Coulson or Thor.

Latter-day Hobbit Martin Freeman is in “Civil War” but Marvel has not yet disclosed his role. I figured he was playing Namor The Submariner or MODOK, but the smart money is he’s playing a supervillain in T’Challa’s orbit.

I mean, this movie is PACKED.

“Civil War,” which depicts what happens when Iron Man and Captain America find themselves on opposite sides of a government plan for superheroes, features the same writing-directing team responsible for the spectacularly entertaining “Captain America: Winter Soldier.”

Arriving May 6 of next year, the third Captain America movie is actually the sixth movie in which Chris Evans puts on his Steve Rogers pants.
