Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Finally, Andy Serkis' role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens has been revealed! He shall be playing Supreme Leader Snoke, an entirely mo-capped creature, in Episode 7 per this interview with photographer Annie Leibovitz at StarWars.com.
And that's not all. Here's a picture of Serkis at work:
Supreme Leader is a bit of a scary title, no? The look on his face doesn't exactly scream good guy, either. We also know that it is his voiceover in the first trailer ("There has been an awakening... have you felt it?"), which is kinda ominous. My mind is running wild trying to figure out what he's ultimately going to look like and how he fits into this giant world. New Emperor figure, perhaps?

Perhaps this Supreme Leader Snoke will look so radically different from Serkis that we'll actually get to see him in the flesh at some point as well (ala King Kong).
