"We had big plans for Harley. But, I guess something came down from DC execs that told us to shut it down. I mean we had that tease with the pigtails and the ARGUS outfit but, we’ll never see it. We would love to Harley in Arrow but it will never happen."
Did "Wolf of Wall Street" vet Margot Robbie’s casting as Harley Quinn in David Ayer’s upcoming “Suicide Squad” movie cause “Arrow” producers to abandon their own plans for that character?
And if that’s the case, how does one explain Warner Bros.’ ongoing efforts to create a “Flash” movie when “The Flash” is already the biggest series on The CW?
One could argue, I suppose, that Warners always prioritizes big-screen DC efforts over small-screen efforts – especially when Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the duo behind big-screen comedy blockbusters like “Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs,” “The Lego Movie” and the “Jump Street” movies – want to make the “Flash” movie.
