Tonight’s installment of “Parenthood,” scripted by longtime “Friday Night Lights” showrunner Jason Katims, is one of its best, managing to cram in a surplus of funny, moving and exciting.

Sundance says of tonight’s fourth episode of Sundance’s “The Returned,” “Victor”:

Camille’s new identity allows her to re-enter life in town until a strange occurrence leads Lena to publicly denounce her sister. Those surrounded by the returned are becoming uncertain of their safety, while Adele uncovers truths buried long ago.

What is Sundance not telling us? Things get a lot freakier on tonight’s “Returned”!

We learn very early in tonight’s opening scene that tiny Victor’s silence is not the only thing that distinguishes him from the other Returned.

That thing on older sister Lena’s grows a lot bigger and elicits many gasps.

They still can’t figure out what’s causing the lake’s level to shift.

And Adele’s police captain fiancé gets a big laugh out of me.

“Sean Saves The World” and “The Michael J. Fox Show” both hit new personal lows. “Parks and Recreation” hit a new series low last Thursday, but it’s still the most popular sitcom on NBC. “Grey’s Anatomy” hit a new season low last Thursday. “Glee” hit another new all-time low, but luckily for “Glee” Fox renewed it for next season before this season began. With a 1.2 “Parenthood” was the top-rated thing on NBC last Thursday.
