Lionsgate has released a new featurette (via Fandango) for THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE. It contains footage from the film, as well as interviews with stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson, and director Francis Lawrence, who discusses how he will be using IMAX technology to enhance certain aspects of the story.
Specifically, he is using IMAX to highlight the scenes that Katniss spends in the arena, and to use the technology to open the world up for both her and the viewer at the particular point in the story. It's an interesting approach, and could prove to be a powerful moment when it plays in the film.
