The New York Post reported Monday that New Jersey governor Chris Christie turned down Mitt Romney’s offer of vice presidential nominee because he feared Romney was doomed to lose to Barack Obama this year.
While Romney is unquestionably a massive hard-on, Christie ranks alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bob Dole as one of our most entertaining post-Civil Rights Act Republicans. He also gives the keynote address during Tuesday’s leg of the Republican National Convention.
