Do I really need to say anything more than this is your chance to see THE DARK KNIGHT RISES before the clock strikes midnight on July 20?
I didn't think so.
I've got tickets to not one... not two... but THREE different showings of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES down here in South Florida, all on Wednesday, July 18, at 7:30 p.m., across all formats - Digital IMAX, 35mm and 70mm IMAX (Locations will be given to the winners once they are decided).
Want to go...? Then explain to me in 100 words or less why you deserve to be one of the first people to lay eyes on Christopher Nolan's Batman finale.
I'm not looking for begging, and I'm not looking for pleading. I'm looking for passion. I'm looking for enthusiasm. I'm looking for excitement. I'm looking for people who can absolutely tell me why they above all people should be in one of those theatres to see THE DARK KNIGHT RISES with their fellow Ain't It Coolers.
Along with your entry, rank the formats in the order you'd prefer to see the film. We have a limited number of seats to each screening, so not everyone might get into their first choice. That's really going to depend on you and the quality of your entry where you wind up, because the best are getting taken care of first.
In the body of the email, send your name and your reasoning to Contests@AintItCool.com with the following subject line exactly (in all CAPS):

If you're missing any of the information I'm asking for, then it's as if you don't even have an entry, no matter how good it may have been.
Entries will be judged on their merit as they come in, and once I have enough quality submissions to fill out our allotment, winners will be posted up on the site.
If you're not sure if you're going to be able to make it though, it's quite simple - don't enter. If you don't think you can get out of work early enough, or if you have class, homework, chores, scheduled surgery, an unreliable car, prior engagements or previous commitments that may prevent you from attending this screening, don't try to win only to let these seats go to waste. This is THE DARK KNIGHT RISES after all, so, if you're not willing to do what you need to do in order to get to the theatre early enough to not only get a good seat but to get in period, then pass on this one.
