HARRY POTTER's Got A Director!!!

Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here. Just thought I'd stop in and share a bit of news that is going to spread to all the regular mainstream sources by morning. It's official... Warner Bros. has made their choice. It seems that CHRIS COLUMBUS is the guy who's going to be bringing HARRY POTTER to life in theaters everywhere next year. I wish Columbus well. It's a massive and thankless undertaking. There's a lot of hardcore POTTER fans out there, and with JK Rowling having a firm hand in the production, there's a lot of people Chris is going to have to try and please. He's been a fan of the series since the first book was published, though, and he seems like he's wildly enthusiastic about the opportunity. I just want to get a peek at the Steve Kloves script before I start forming any opinion about the direction they're headed with the series. The announcement was confirmed by a press release that hit the wire this afternoon, so this is the final word, folks.
