The concept alone is enough to scream "found footage," which is sure to create some detractors along the way, but Universal has picked up a Bermuda Triangle movie from producer Scott Stuber (SAFE HOUSE) with Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, the showrunners of the WB/CW's long-running series SMALLVILLE, set to write it up, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Story details are under wraps for now, but would it surprise anyone to find out that this project will be centered around the disappearance of people investigating the legend of the Bermuda Triangle, complete with their own video equipment to document their findings? At least we'll finally find out what's going on in that mysterious region...
