I am a long time AICN reader but have never had anything to write about. Lately I have noticed you posting a few things about Troma and thought you might be interested in these guys that I am doing my internship with - Sick & Twisted Productions.
S.T.P are the coolest bunch of people! They will give anyone a chance to work for them (for FREE of course!) and they make the funniest, sickest movies in the world (ok maybe only in Canada!). Part of my internship so far has been to read the first draft of a movie they are working on - EASTER BUNNY MASSACRE. This script was hilarious and gore filled! This will put Troma to shame. The really scary thing is they have a private investor funding the entire film! So it is actually going to get made! Small budget of course but still getting made. They weren't really sure when they were going to be shooting it. They are currently busy shooting a DV feature - SICK & TWISTED: THE MOVIE, which I am working on! It lives up to its title. There is one scene where a baby is blown up in a microwave and the guts go all over the mother! Yup, Sick & Twisted! SICK & TWISTED: THE MOVIE is based off a short they had made in college. It was pretty bad but this time around it ROCKS! The only other project I have heard them talk about was a documentary called COURTROOM 33 (which has a nice web site) but according to them has been shelved until EASTER BUNNY MASSACRE is finished.
That's all for now! If I find out more I will send it in. There web site is going through a makeover right now but when it goes back online it will have a ton of info on the production of SICK & TWISTED: THE MOVIE and EASTER BUNNY MASSACRE!
